Devmark Commercial (Pty) Ltd
The Devmark Property Group has over the years developed a number of shopping centres, office blocks and light industrial parks. However, the main thrust of its business has historically been residential, retirement village and leisure developments. A strategic decision was made during the course of 2007 to form a dedicated retail, commercial and industrial development business within the Group with a view to the sourcing and development of those asset classes only. This has resulted in the establishment of Devmark Commercial (Pty) Ltd, which is headed up by Antonie van Wyk.
The Devmark Property Group model, i.e. that of offering value-add services along the entire business chain, has also been applied to Devmark Commercial. The company accordingly also offers investment and leasing broking, as well as property management services. Despite being a start-up business, Devmark Commercial is already engaged in projects that could realise a combined value in excess of R350 million. Its broking division has also successfully completed the leasing of the Airport Mall Shopping Centre in Belhar.
