Founder and CEO of Devmark Property Group. He holds numerous degrees – a B.Soc.Sc, Bus.Admin.Hon and an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch. In 1998, Hein was recognized for his contributions to property development in the Western Cape by the Institute of Marketing Management.
In 2013 he was selected as Outstanding Professional of the Year by Worldwide Who’s Who for his brilliance and talent in property development. In 2016 he was selected by Bristol Who’s Who as Outstanding Professional of the Year and inducted into Worldwide Branding for his contributions to his industry. He has been selected as Top CEO of the Year for 2018 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the property development and financial management industry.
In 2019 he was featured in T.I.P (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and won the Business Innovator of the Year Award by the International Association of Top Professionals.
Jean–Pierre holds a B.Sc (CM) Hons. from the University of Cape Town, which he completed in 1995.
He is an experienced Development Manager specialising in developing investment grade commercial properties both domestically and in Asia.
Francois completed a B.Comm Accounting degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2001. Thereafter he completed three years of articles at an auditing firm.
He joined the Group during 2005 as Financial Manager and during 2007, he was appointed as Financial Director. He completed his MBA in 2009.
Chanet has been involved with the management of Devmark’s property portfolio for the past 8 years. She heads up the division and serves as trustee on multiple body corporates and home owners associations.
She comes with a wealth of property knowledge and has vast experience in property law. Chanet was one of the founders of Devmark Property Management. She is backed by a B.Comm Management degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
Eduan obtained his B.Sc Construction Management degree at the University of Pretoria in 1995. He started his career as a student engineer at Benstra on the UNISA – Cas van Vuuren building in 1991. He joined Group Five in 1996 as a site engineer and have come through the ranks in Group Five.
In 2012 he was appointed as Managing Director for Group Five Coastal where he was responsible for the Building, Civils, Nuclear Services, Roads and Earthworks divisions in KZN, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Northern Cape.
He had extensive experience over the years in construction of retail, commercial, residential and industrial projects on the building side of the business. He has been involved in large landmark projects like The Hilton Hotel in Sandton, Revamp of the Menlyn shopping centre, Bantry Bay upmarket Apartments, Metropolis High Rise apartments, Monte Clair mixed used development, SKA Project in Carnarvon, Table Bay Mall, Pearls Sky a 34 story Apartment block with retail etc.
Eduan joined the Devmark Property Group in 2020 as Managing Director of Devmark Construction.
Jean completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stellenbosch University and UNISA. He joined Devmark in 2003 when he started out assisting with Devmark’s property marketing.
He joined the commercial division in 2004 where he was responsible for the facilitation of commercial and retail development opportunities, leasing and sales.
His experience gained over the years in deal facilitation has also lead him into residential development and he is currently full time involved in securing and execution of residential development opportunities across a wide range of products and price classes.
Heinrich has been involved in the management and site operations for Devmark Construction for the past 5 years. Before joining Devmark Construction he headed up his own very successful renovations and maintenance company and completed a course at UCT in Property Development and Investment.
Heinrich made the natural transition from construction and maintenance to Devmark Property Management in 2019, where he was appointed as managing director. He brings to the company years of experience in the field and is backed by a diploma in software development and finance.
Dejane completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2004, after which she worked for two years for the group, gaining work experience in the property industry.
In 2006 she moved to London, where she worked for a Property Investment Group which gave her international exposure in the property industry and subsequently gained extensive experience.
Upon her return in 2008 she co-founded Devmark Design, a subsidiary of the group, focusing on all design elements. In 2016 she was appointed as Marketing Manager and shifted her focus solely on the Group’s marketing.
Maryke completed her B.Comm Industrial Psychology degree in the year 2013 and studied further to complete her honours degree in B.Comm Industrial Psychology.
After her studies, she joined a prestigious Labour Consultancy Firm for 5 years and held various positions at the firm. After completing numerous advancement modules, she was promoted to a Senior Industrial Relations Consultant and a Litigator in the year 2020. Maryke has now joined the Devmark team since 2021.
Juvan completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Land and Property Development Management in 2010 and B.Sc (QS) Hons from the University of the Free State in 2012.
Thereafter he joined a PQS firm and subsequently a large construction company involved with large state projects. He joined Devmark Construction in 2018 as the Senior Quantity Surveyor taking responsibility of the Quantity Surveying and Estimating departments.
